How much does Personal Training cost?
1-1 Personal training can cost anywhere from $80-$250 per hour. With price not always reflecting quality, its difficult to decide what is good and what is bad when you have no experience of personal training.
At First Guess Fitness, we dont charge for the hour of personal training, but more so build a personalized plan for you providing the support you need to reach your goals.
Even better, we dont hold you to lengthy contracts, but instead build the plan around monthly subscriptions that allow us to adapt and change as you gain confidence and more experience.
What results should I expect from Personal Training?
There are a lot of factors that will determine the type of results you will get from personal training. Our genetics, training history, lifestyle will all influence the results that we see from our training program.
However, what we can almost always guarantee is that after 60 minutes you will feel better, after 6 weeks you will notice big physiological shifts with your fitness i.e. strength, cardio vascular, mobility etc.
You, and those around you, will notice physical change anywhere from 6,12 to 36 weeks from consistent training and application of good nutritional practices.
I have tried Personal Training before and did not get the results I wanted, how will this be different?
Results will vary, however, when applying the principles of scientifically verified methods of building muscle and burning fat, we know that you can bring about a positive change to your body composition.
Our approach to fitness, is to meet you where you are at, give you what you need and then support you on your journey. There are alot of Charlatans in the fitness industry making change seem confusing, where are here to simplify so you can enjoy the journey.

Why should I do personal training when i could join a gym at a fraction of the cost?
This is a question we get a lot. Personal training and a gym membership are two totally different things.
When you sign up for a gym, your paying for access only.
When you sign up for personal training, your paying for a personalized program, a professional coach to show you what to do safely and effectively, a community, private access to a facility which all contributes to increasing confidence & consistency.
Personal training is support to help you achieve a particular result, a gym membership is access to a facility in which you can attempt to independently achieve a result.
Do I need to do lots of high intensity workouts to lose fat?
Not at all. We enjoy appropriate doses of intense work, but if this style of training does not suit your preferences, we can adapt the program to ensure your enjoying the exercise and getting results.
We believe we should train to get fit, not to get tired.
Anybody can make you tired by making you run, do burpees and jump around, but experienced coaches will program the appropriate exercises that will maximize your results without destroying your body.
Do I need to cut out carbs, or go on a special diet in order to get results?
The short answer here is no.
There is a reason there are a hundred diets, that all work.
They apply the scientific principles of weight loss.
Our approach to nutrition is to apply these scientific principles to suit your preferences so you dont feel like you have to give up your favorite foods.

We have fantastic coaches, a great community and all the equipment you need to get great results, however, we may not be the right fit for you!
